Little Star Writers Become Journalists

In Spring 2013, the Little Star Writers were given a brief from the editor of Families upon Thames. They were asked to come up with a selection of party ideas, and write mini articles that would inform and educate the 38,000 readers the magazine reaches.

The Little Star Writers took to this task with bags of enthuasism and spent time over several workshops thinking of party ideas children would love, but ones that would also save parents money and be as stress-free as possible. After lots of brainstorming sessions, various edits and an injection of Little Star creativity, the best articles were published in the magazine for all to read. We'd like to say thank you to Linda from Families upon Thames for supporting LSW workshops and helping to inspire the next generations of authors -  and journalists!
